Nutrition
Two snacks and a healthy, organic lunch are included with tuition. Meals are served family-style and prepared with local, fresh, organic, and seasonal ingredients. Meats are free from hormones and antibiotics, and beef is always pasture raised. Eggs are free-range as well. Meals are healthy and intended to expose the children to French cuisine as well as international cuisine. The children use teamwork by participating in setting the tables and clean-up. The children also raise homegrown vegetables and herbs in our garden. All of these activities contribute to a greater appreciation for the value of locally grown produce and sharing a delicious meal together.

Viviane, a native French speaker, learned her love for healthy food from her grandmother. She takes immense pleasure into making sure that the children at MPÉ get the best vegetables that one can find. Straight from her farm in Sebastopol to our Santa Rosa French preschool, the vegetables served are a pleasure to eat. Your children will crave salads and homemade dishes.
On special occasions or for snacks, we proudly serve tasty desserts and "viennoiseries" from our local French purveyor, Sarmentine.
